The principle of mono-tests, MONO-VIDITEST, is based on an indirect ELISA method for determining the content of specific antibodies in samples. The kits are intended for quantitative / semi-quantitative evaluation of IgA, IgM and IgG class of antibodies in serum, plasma, cerebrospinal fluid and synovial fluid samples.
All MONO-VIDITEST kits have unified incubation times and washing steps. This benefit supports the testing of different MONO-VIDITEST diagnostic kits in one run.
MONO-VIDITEST kits monitor the patient's examination by individual sample, which leads to a faster result, savings in material and personnel costs of the medical device.
Clinical analyzes are completely automatically processed on the VIDIMAT device, which is designed for multiparametric testing.
With regard to unification of reagents, incubations and washing times, all MONO-VIDITEST and ELISA-VIDITEST kits can be processed in parallel in one run. A system that combines both test options in one device is not known in Europe.
Evaluation of positivity / negativity of the serum / plasma are performed according to the positivity index, AU / ml units or according to international IU / ml units. International units have been determined according to WHO standard 20/136 and can also be interpreted in BAU / ml (Binding Antibody Units).
