Detection of PAH for the enviromental diagnostics

We offer the ELISA VIDITEST PAH for measurement of total concentration of PAH mixture(total PAH) in environmental samples, particularly in soil, tar, surface and waste water and in sediments.

Advantages of ELISA VIDITEST PAH:

The kit is a competitive immunoassay in which environmental PAH compete with enzyme-labeled PAH. Sample that contains low concentration of environmental PAH allows enzyme-labeled PAH to bind to an antibody immobilized on the wells of micro titrate plate. The advantage of this detection is the ability to test about 40 samples (1 micro titrate plate) at once and the results are available in up to 2,5 hours. The ELISA test is 50 times cheaper, with smaller demand on laboratory equipment compared to LC/MS methods. The difference between the LC/MS methods and the ELISA test is especially remarkable in testing high volume of samples, e.g. if 40 samples were to be tested by LC/MS methods the test would last 90 hours. The combination of the classical methods and the ELISA test can be the efficient and reasonable solution.
